Quite a witty and interesting book! One of the main ideas of the book is that work (or another occupation) tends to occupy all the time that is allotted to it. I learned about this idea (Parkinson’s Law) from Timothy Ferris’ book – How to Work 4 Hours a Week. From the various stories, you can draw interesting conclusions as to why some organisations are ineffective, principles and decision making.
A few pictures for reference.
The book is paperback and quite small in volume, which in principle is reflected in the price quite favourably. The text has many b/w illustrations. The paper is white and thick.
The contents are fine, but it’s a bit small for a gift – a hard cover would be nice. chiks
